It’s been a while….

Gosh it's been a while since my last blog post! Summer holidays are here so it's been busy on the caravan site and we are busy harvesting as well. I love to enjoy my morning cup of tea outside and listen to the birds getting up and feel the breeze without the massive rush of getting the children to school. Somehow it all feels more peaceful!

In between getting some silaging done and the combining started we visited Hoo Zoo and dinosaur park. Half an hour from us it was an amazing day out! There are lots of exotic animals to see, big cats, skunks, porcupines, meet cats, all in outside enclosures with super low viewing windows so it was really easy for the children to see them. There are several fabulous 'walk through' enclosures where so can be so close to the animals it is really magical - the wallabies, lemurs and a bird enclosure. With lots of undercover areas to eat you are welcome to take your own food if you want to make that budget stretch a bit further. I think the biggest hit was the dinosaur enclosure. A walk through experience with massive moving roaring dinosaurs! It was really impressive - I am quite glad they aren't around now!

All in all a super day out for kids and grown ups alike!
