What's on?

Updated: Jun 29, 2023

Who would love a bath like this! This was one of the show gardens at Gardeners World Live - definitely a garden goal, althought the weather would have to be right ☀️.

I think it's a really British thing to always start a conversation about the weather, but as farmers and running a caravan site we seem to be quite obsessed with it 😂. The temperature has been a bit more overcast this week but still nice and warm, with the odd shower thrown in to keep the grass growing.

The swedes will be growing nicely now and the corn is starting to ripen which is always nice to see.

There has been lots on in Shropshire this weekend, Shrewsbury Food Festival was a big concern in Shrewsbury Quarry with lots to do for all of the family.

This weekend Severn Valley Railway have a 1940's weekend which looks like lots of fun, with lots of refreshments and stalls and entertainment.

Also going on is Ludlow Fringe Festival - a celebration of Arts, Community & Culture which is coming to an end of the 2nd of July having run since the middle of June. Ludlow is just a short hop down the A49 and well worth a visit.

Or why not take your dog to participate in the annual dog show at Blists Hill museum, Ironbridge.

The choice is yours !
