It's been a while I know! But with a dry day overhead 😁 we have taken full advantage and started some winter maintenance at our Shepherds Hut.
🌳 Today it has been trimmining the hedges back a little. We do this in the winter period before spring growth starts and birds start to nest.
Luckily we haven't had much storm damage, just a little bit of felt to replace but other than that everything is still standing - which is amazing because it sounded really windy from the safe walls of the house! I am a bit of a scaredy cat and go full on hibernation when it is so windy.
We have got some painting and touching up to do before opening the Shepherds Hut for the summer season, but we are still welcoming guests on the touring caravan site throughout the winter.
